MY STORY

Why Science with Ms. G?

Science wasn’t always my passion. In fact, I used to hate it. I struggled to engage with the subject because no one taught it in a way that made sense to me. I was handed a textbook and expected to figure it out on my own. That all changed when I met my teacher, Mr. Frimpong. He made science come alive and, for the first time,

I know firsthand how important it is to have an inspiring teacher who meets students where they are.

Fast forward to today, and I hold a BSc in Natural Sciences from UCL with over five years of teaching experience, including my role as a KS4 Coordinator.

In 2023, I also served as a Chemistry Examiner for AQA , giving me expert insight into how exams are marked and how students can excel.

I’ve had the privilege of helping students rediscover their love for science. Whether through one-on-one tutoring or classroom teaching , my goal has always been to break down complex topics into simple, engaging lessons that build confidence and curiosity. Science is for everyone—it just needs to be taught in a way that makes sense.
